Have you ever seen the moon at daytime?
I have...
An endless dance of desire, trying to reach the earth.
Pulled by its beauty and feelings,
but never gets there, not even at death.
Some would tell him to give up, set wings.
But the poor moon is in love, his heart sings.
Suddenly, the moon realized he is not alone;
because, although he spins around his love,
his love spins around another, which spins around its own.
So he tries, as hard as he can,
to pull the earth's attention
from the grip of the other man.
And his fight seems to work,
he shifts the water tides.
Sometimes even blocks the sun's light,
but staying in its shadow is all he has got
Have you ever seen the moon at daytime?
I have...
and cried. |
