Have you ever built a sandcastle? I mean a really big one,
with towers and rooms; kind of like the ones you see in
cartoons. After spending a good couple of hours working on
it, you decide to take a little snack break. As you take out
your sandwich, or whatever you took to the beach, you
realize in the corner of your eye a small group of teenagers
playing some stupid game with two rackets and a tiny rubber
ball. Suddenly, one of them trips back and obliterates your
dear sandcastle. Blood cells carrying rage flow at the speed
of light to your brain, yet you know you can not do anything
to bring it back. It is gone, and that is nature's way.
Though one can build a new sandcastle, it will never be the
same as its predecessor. That same castle was unique, and so
is this. This recursion will go on forever, as long as there
will be someone to build them. But from time to time, the
castle ameliorates and its flaws are all filtered until the
perfect one is achieved. This theoretic situation will only
occur in infinite, where time is no longer a parameter. |
