I tread within thou wearing boots of golden silk,
My torch sheds light beyond your covering arms.
I listen carefully to the sounds and bilk
With currencies of thy sensitive charms.
You are unused to that, and I don't know,
Which word of mine could hazard all of this.
I am one whole with my sobriety's glow,
I add one spark, one single gentle hiss.
But what I understand could just be void
Of anything that has to do with you.
When by my cognizance you are annoyed
Exhausted shadows running amok I pursue.
The day you understand yourself you could reveal
Fragility becoming kin to your ideal. |
