Acceptance.
It's that one thing I lack.
Accepting life that ends with death,
And love that ends with disappointment,
And a moment that ends into a memory fading away.
And that al the paths I've chosen
Have lead me here,
Today.
I need to accept,
That you will never be mine,
And that I will never stop wanting you,
And it's all fine.
I need to accept that I am,
Who I am,
Nothing more, nothing less,
I am all I really have, I guess.
Acceptance,
It's the one thing,
I really need to be,
But I wish I could learn to accept,
The lack of acceptance in me.
