Ever get the feeling you're stuck?

to be someone, the only problem is that you don't really
know who and where...

So you get in your car, start it up and listen to the engine
wake up, turn on the headlights, roll down the window just a
little bit, turn on the radio and start driving, you are not
going anywhere, after all where would you go?
But you're sick of staying at home, alone, so you drive just
for a little while, to clear your head, familiar streets,
empty at this late hour.

You listen to the music, but you don't like the songs, so
you put in a cd, and you sing along.

After a while, you realize, you're no longer singing, and
while you were so deep in you thoughts, you auto drove the
car, but now you don't know where you are.
It's a long highway, it's dark and now it starts to rain
softly, you feel small drops come in through the crack in
the window the radio plays a non-familiar song buy a famous
band, you like this song, that's why you've taken that cd,
you sing along again, till the song reaches the guitar solo
part, it's a slow melody as you drive faster through the
rain, the rain is stronger now, and it starts to get cold,
you roll the window up and turn on the heating.

You look at your watch, you've been driving for hours, the
darkness starts to rise as light pushes it up over the
horizon, you're tired, you're sleepy, you smile.

You see a sign: "next exit: nowhere".
I guess you were headed nowhere after all
