I tried to look out

To look forward
I found myself again
Thinking about my heart

What will be
What do I have
What do I want

I am human

We all get lost
In this world we share

We all seem to walk forward
Make plans
And move slowly
Moving slowly- to nowhere

I try to look ahead
At what is to come
Try to shape my future
And I keep looking down

Who am I
How can I
Will I ever
Why do I try

I am human
You are human
Humans are weird
That's what I found

We all look forward
Forward for better times
Times we understand ourselves
And hold each other in our arms
