Sitting in bed, the blinds are closed,

have I been sleeping or just resting my eyes?
some time has passed, some time stood still

or has it all gone up in smoke?

are these my four walls that are closing down?
Is this a life, is this the end?
Could I be neath 6 foot of sand?


Could this be   just another Saturday night?
walking around, staring straight at the people passing by
Hoping to steal their strength with my eye
walking around, got nothing to do, it makes me dead inside

the days are passing by me, it's not right

how people like me, stranded cold

anoter day is dawning
why do I lack the strength to

Satruday night is time to party,
and parties are all around

but I feel like going to none
So shall I wake? go on alone?
haunt the people passing by?

Is this some kind of test of skill or might?
I do it all, just as before
