The sky darkens as the war begins

Cannons thunder, muses don't sing

One last time!" I shout, filled with lust for blood

This is all too big for a person's heart.

Happiness turned to sorrow, then it turned to rage
But these feelings will remain forever caged
For my lips are sealed while the battle wages on
This time I just can't win, I'm destined to die alone

Bright skies pour some light on the field
The troops are gone; I'm by myself out here
I break in tears, and close my eyes
Finally I realize
I was fighting myself the whole time

On my knees I kneel, scream into the air
The time is now; I no longer care

End this misery! Strike me down"
But nobody can here me
