Danny came home
Saw me lying on the bed
Staring at the ceiling
Holding scissors in my hand
She ran to her room
And started to cry
Her weeping was silent
She knows the reason why
   
She sat next to me
Started calming my hair
Promising decisively
She will always be there
   
I wiped out her tears
Preparing her for the bitter end
Then awaken her fears
She ran again,
Started crying in my bed.
   
I wrote her a letter
Before I left home
Said it won't matter
"You're still my big girl,
And it's for the better
Just stay brave...
