just another shinny day
yet its dark today
and we don't see a thing

This place of life is past its prime
the light is hidden in a veil of lies

And yet it bends and breaks
the light shines through it burns it all around us

You can't resist the glow as it's piercing through your
soul
it's opening your eyes and leaves you smiling

It gets you gleaming like a pearl of wisdom as you stride
away fulfilled to the brim with love of life

But then I wake up in the morning
I look outside its just another cloudy day
its grey and dark but through the clouds
I see the sun still shinning bright
