A Man Is Drinking A River of Water saying: "My mouth is dry.
I'm drinking and drinking. My belly is swollen from the
liquids but I keep drinking. I've been so thirsty. I still
am. The water is so good, but it helps me not. It's never
enough water. My mouth is so dry that I could drink me a
river."
And he does drink a river. He is drinking a river of tears.
Out there - there's some other man crying. His heart is
broken. He is crying for no reason. He's not crying because
his girl has left him. He had no girl to leave him. He isn't
crying because he has no love. This man has never loved. He
is crying because he can't have what he wants from life. And
boy, is his heart broken. It's god himself that broke his
heart. God and reality. And nature. He's crying for all the
miseries of the world. He's crying a river of tears. The
same tears the thirsty man is drinking.
And then there is a man whose job is to make people
miserable. He's the one responsible for the mishaps on
earth. He is driven by a huge force - the force of boredom.
It's really a shame but this guy has nothing to do in his
life but making people miserable. Well, you can't really
blame this bored guy for choosing to make people's life
miserable. After all, when you feel nothing, you have to
make someone else feel something so you know that there are
still feelings in this world. He could, off course, make
people happy. But he doesn't. He's afraid.
He was afraid because he knew that there once was a man who
used to make people happy. That was his job. It filled his
world. He used to make lovers love like cupid. He used to
bring gifts to the poor children who had no parents to buy
them gifts on Christmas. He was the poor children's Santa
Claus. He used to feed the homeless, and kiss the wounds of
kids who's parents gave them funny names like 'Precious
Grace the 3rd' and got beaten in school.
However, as kind and generous this man of happiness was, he
grew quite arrogant. He began to truly believe - believe,
which is one sin of the happy people, but that's not all: He
began to truly believe that he could cure the world's
misery. And so - he took himself a long long and dry dry
towel and decided to wipe the eyes of the man who cried a
river. It was a huge towel he used. It was made of papers
and towels and clothes tied to each other. He had all the
rich people donating their clothes and toilet papers and
tissues for the benefit of this little propitious project.
But as soon as he neared the crying man he was washed by the
river's flow - right into the ocean (it was before the
foundation of the drinking man).
The drinking man was born only a few hundreds ago. The whole
world was overflowing and nature needed a mutation created
to save itself. That's how the thirsty man got thirsty I
guess. It was at the convention of the mutant committee that
they decided to create a thirsty man. Since they couldn't
kill the misery man or the crying man, at least they could
make someone thirsty enough to live in this world. It's
thanks to thirsty people that this world still exist, truly. |
