Have you ever seen the ocean crying?
The waves pounding strongly over the rocks
Screaming quietly,
Yet no one hears his voice.
His beloved wind has left him again all alone,
Searching for her in the distant, unreachable horizon.
All the diamonds he kept in his palms are long swept to
shore,
As well as his memories and hopes.
But even though he never forgets,
Never stops waiting,
His beloved wind is nowhere to be seen, never comes back.
So the oceans sad, he starts to cry,
"Goodbye my love," he says, "goodbye.
I am pounding over the rocks for you,
Can`t you hear my silent scream?
This color of mine, this blue,
It is from the tears I've cried for you.
I've lost my dream I had of you,
Will you come and make it come true,
Without disappearing like you always do?"
But he hears no voice,
He hears no call,
His love is forever gone.
And there I was, standing on the shore,
Feeling how his tears fall gently on my feet,
Feeling his desperate plead,
His silent, forever unheard scream. |
