Life, life, life,
Look what has become of me,
As cars passing by
And I'm walking alone in the street
And with no feet.
I used to think some times
That hope was enough to survive,
But they said:
"If your hopes should pass away
Then simply pretend
That you can build them again".
I look around,
A hazy moon
And the skies
Is a glimpse of a wasted future.
And now
Stroll around in the gardens of your youth
And scream
In agony when you see the plants die down.
I hope
You don't care at all for me
Cause you see
I have no more hope inside me
And I don't want to pretend that I can see another way.
Life, life, life,
See what's become of me,
As the cars passing by
And I'm walking alone in the street
With bleeding feet.
There were some times
That hope was enough for me to get by,
But now they say:
"If your hope has passed away
And there's nothing left for you to stay,
Then simply pretend
That you're alive, not dead."
I look around,
No one's around
And the sky
Is a glimpse of a dark future.
Look around
I am down,
With a sword between my teeth.
So look around,
There's no light
And I'm fighting with my blindness...
I look around
A hazy moon,
There's blood on the ground... |
