Once, when I just came to my unit, I was pasting scripts to
one of our simulations. One of the scripts was named
"ButtonLogicGod", as if god was sitting here, in his little
work-station in this open- spaced room, between green
all-day-typing soldiers, and wrote his own logic for
buttons.
Little Button "Raya", that when her feelings being pushed,
she cries. Him, defining button raya's hit area as all of
her body, and tagging her as "rayaBtn" in the library of
flash MX. Little Button "anonymous man", tagged as
"killerBtn" that when he's in his up state his rage's being
pushed and he goes and murders. Little button "pedophile
psycho", that the area that moves him to action, the case
that triggers him are all children of the world. And
finally, "depressed weirdo" that his down state programmed
to be all of his miserable life.
As if god could do his life- programming project better then
mine. as if, his logic is so pure, so divine, his loops are
so sophisticated, his commands are top-of-the-year in
simplicity and his notes are the shortest brightest of
all.
BULLSHIT.
God's logic to life doesn't even make sense. It's the messed
up bit of code that I ever got the chance to lay my eyes on.
It's long, it's unprofessional, it's got all this funny
offhandedly patches, that were added after finding something
like a dozen bugs and trying to smoothen them laziness and
fastly, without his bosses finding that out. Sometimes it
works, other times- it decides not to. It's all given way
too much randomizing decisions, determining all sort of
things by chance, by no-good-lows of dead luck.
After this long year programming in the army and 19 too long
years living in the life god programmed for me, I can tell
you this one thing- God's Logic to life, isn't logic AT
ALL.
For all god- furious programmers, wherever you are... |
