Deep in the dark, the test of belief called
A tale of a man who lost it all
The devil laughed, with a wicked grin
"Let's see your faith when the storms begin."

where the winds howl cold
Job sat in silence, his heart turned to stone
His mind turned to ashes
The spirits may rage, but the heart knows the way
In the depths of the night, he waits for the day
Oh, Job, can you stand the fire?
When the nightfall creeps in, and hope grows tired
The devil's dance is a tempting lure
But in your heart
you know the cure

Oh, Job... with your spirit so bold
Through the troubles, your story is told
With your friends all around, but they don't understand
You keep on believing, you still take a stand

From darkness to whispers, job questioned the skies
"Where is your mercy, in the veil of your lies?"
Yet in the abyss, his faith held the key
"Though he slay me, I will trust and believe."

Then came the thunder, the voice like a flame
"Where were you, Job, when I called out your name?"
In awe he surrendered,  then the darkness turned gold
For in every trial, a new truth unfolds
So here's to the struggle, the pain you've enslaved
In the face of evil, your spirit's engraved
Through the path of torment, your light will shine
In the dance with the darkness, your heart stays divine

So here's to the dreamers who walk through the fire
To the hearts that keep searching, with a hope that climbs
higher
For in every struggle, there is a lesson to learn
Like Job in the shadows, we'll all take our turn
