morning came by on the blue mountains cold
breathing i climbed on a path that is old
an ancient ditty was born
"oh it's so blue!"
and echo replied from mountains dawn
"oh it's so blue, so blue, so blue, so blue!"

sun hits its waves on the top of the hills
torn are my clothes and my face's burning steel
my song then so thirsty it rose
"so tired am i!"
and echo replied from the stones of the wall
"tired am i, oh my, oh my, oh my!"

evening lay down, twilight falls on the glen
lonely i stepped on a road painted red
my song's rolling down on the slope
"oh so alone!"
and echo replied from mountain hebron
"oh so alone, alone, alone, alone!"

night slowly fell on the cliffs of nevo
hyena cries out to a desert and its dunes
my voice's looking out to my pals
"oh it's so far!"
and echo replied from the top of sinai
"oh it's so far, so far, so far, so far!" |
