we have a complex relationship

I like to sit next to you,

As I am a constant driving car
I know that I am strong,

That I fear it will get me so far.

She looks like me,
Imitates my motions as a mirror,
She'll cover me at night with warmth,
Will fall asleep with me and shiver.

You did great things,
Dear fear,
I wish you knew that.
Saving me from people,
Danger and from myself the most,
But You're a guest
on the passenger side
And I promise to be a lovely host,
Only if I am leading this journey
Leaving what we've been through behind
