Dear god,
If you're there, let it show
Something, to prove that you hear, that you know.
I, have been waiting forever to see
That I'm not alone, and that you're here with me
So many, are waiting to meet you today
Now, more than ever, they speak and they pray
For answers and reason, they can't understand
For justice forever, and strength to withstand.
When looking around, sometimes I wonder,
What went through your mind while creating such wonder,
And other things, you've created as well;
Like violence, and murder, and sorrow, and hell.
You see,
If I were you, I'd be asking this question;
"What could I give, as a right compensation,
For those who have suffered, due to my ways
And paid the price, of going astray?"
But no compensation, seems to suffice
And horror, covers my heart with ice
I'm starting to see, why you favor the doubt,
You should stay in the dark, and never come out. |
