(Translated to English from Hebrew by the author

Those were the most beautiful days
When the sun split the flesh only at noontide
While the rest was okay
And the nights came reasonable and cool
Through the open window -
The most beautiful days
Of a winter turned into
A stillborn fall
In the twilight of the world .
In the mornings I roam the streets,
Swept by the wind
Swirled about like a crispy pile of leaves,
Walking on foot,
As empty as an egg
A hole pierced in its shell
My eyes drawing in sights
My mouth innocent of food
My pocket of money
My opening of a man
Sights alone filling my eyes
And I am like an empty
Egg shell
Totally satisfied.
