Look at us: we're still sinning.

Have pity on us; take us out of our misery.
We've been alone
Too long and we can't recall
Why we're here,
And so we're asking:

but we're still failing.

but you won't see us caring.
There's too much brutality,
Hating blindly,
Questions are better left unanswered,
Ignorance is bliss.
And so we're screaming loud:

All you taught us when we were kids
Worth nothing to the outside.
Thrown out so violently
Into a world of ugliness.
There's no pride in being human beings,
We've forgotten our place.
So we're standing here alone
On a mountain and asking time and again:

Father,
We see too many of you crying.
Mother,
We know you care but please, stop trying.
There's much less honesty,
Way too much hypocrisy,
Punish us
By ignoring us.
