It was Christmas Eve and she was tired
Of weaving herself to the ground with her claws
She held to the straw in her teeth
With her jaws
As the day was dawning
she noticed
her hair
it was beginning to fade in the wind.
She struggled to breathe...
....
And she struggled to fly
Never knowing which one
came before
Or which was more important
Or mortal
to her soul
The soil clung like earth
To her heavenly body
She thought she was dead
But she really was lovely

It was Christmas Eve when it had all but started
To ooze on her heart like some clock that's been tired
She looked for a space
For a shelter to be
But no they did not say that you could be free
But then there he was there the soul of her mate
The sole of his shoe was like light to her face
She swallowed she chew she almost choked her to death
But head on she carried herself more or less...
He loved her
He loved her
He wanted her here
He said will you love me 'cause I will have thee
She swam and she nestled like a dolphin she felt
For there was this water that carried her well
That let her swim wildly and
Let her graze hay
And let her be lovely
...
Even though she had fled. |

 אף פעם לא היית
ילדת דגני בוקר,
שחשבה שזה פתרון
טוב להסתובב עם
ילדות
הצימוקים.
