Through this locked door
In this blockaded house
In a bubble-world
There are people who will laugh
Because they don't know;
And who will ever say it's false?
Through the locked door
Slow footsteps getting closer,
There's nowhere else to hide
From criticizing minds;
Who's there to blame?
Maybe if someone could see through the pain.
Leaving in shadows of past forgotten,
Yearning for a light of future broken,
Save the darkness and let it never fade away,
Sunglasses to protect yourself from what's out there,
Staring eyes piercing through the walls
Maybe if someone could see through the masquerade.
There must be no more pain,
And no more tears,
You're not to blame
For what they choose to see.
There must be no regrets,
No more words to say,
It's not their fault
If they can't see through this charade.
In this bubble world
There's a lonely house
With a locked door
And inside lies lifeless a man
Because no-one cared,
And who will show them their mistake?
If only someone could see right through him.
If only someone could break through his bubble-world. |
