ברק כרמיאלי / Angel |
Today an angel crossed my path. And angels aren't so likely to be seen Her skin so smooth, her hair so bright, Her smile, the shiniest if I ever before a smile had seen. A glare, a glow, I am betrothed to the flares of light and glee. Everything around, as silence of an instant drowned all that moves or makes a sound, swamped as I, in radiation of the forces of eternity. "Draw thy spades and rust shall bare all that is afoot, Before the mountain tumbles and a soul relentless smirks and roots. Gaze upon the eyes below, before thee meets despair Alas, the fallen shall not glow, nor enemies, beware! Come upon the day my son of illness and of pain, Begone thy curses as they come, for none shall here sustain. And so the final pair is drawn before your eyes to see. All thy troubles here be lout and so thy soul set free." Spoke she spoke if angels speak, a mouth not moves, nor moves the lips. The thoughts have come, and so are written as transported right to me. My mind be wonders, or be thinking could this or could not this be? At last a glare, a glow, that leaves the earth, my heart a beat thus skipped. An angel left and disappeared, Alone am I left gazing at the vapor and mist where the celestial being touched my mind with blades sharper than the sharpest swords, that left a cut of bleeding thought, an open wound that yet stays clean. Today an angel crossed my path. And angels aren't so likely to be seen. ![]() |
