Homage to Brock.
Dear Friends, family, acquaintances, remote acquaintances, and others,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of my Jeep, our
friend, Brock.
I came home today to find (or rather, not find) Brock missing. After
exhausting every possibility, I reluctantly concluded that he was stolen,
in mid Tel Aviv, and probably in broad daylight or something.
Brock, you were like a Jeep to me.
I hadn't known you for long, but we had some good times. Also some crappy
times.
Losing you is a terrible tragedy (especially since I now have to cancel a
couple of [not so very, now] imminent trips I had planned) and I will not
soon forget you, maybe.
You were a good vehicle, Brock. Your unused DVD screens, your not so much
but still rather non-half assedly overwhelming lack of no low quality of a
sound system shortage, the touch of your steering wheel, your pimpmobillike
props, and your alternator with it's bad sense of humor (...or maybe it was
the battery, I guess we'll never find out now) will all help me get proper
insurance compensation.
Brock, I will miss you, and I never even had the chance to tell you how
much I was about to sell you anyways because you ate gas like a damn yacht
and your self-compacting abilities when searching for parking were less
than satisfactory.
AMEN.
P.S.
Is anyone selling their car? I happen to be looking...
Also if anyone's interested in a spare 55 jeep tire, you know where to find
me.
