She couldn't block the wind blowing hard on me
All was blinded she couldn't see,
What was left of what was burnt
And the skies turned out red
After the cold sunset of the night
The breeze gliding down her spine.
Lowered herself
Into me
To see tomorrow
She stared me down
To the ground.
The sand blew into her eyes
Burning them blind from the sun,
Into the fires of the night
Where her soul stays hidden
For years and decades
Till the sun comes out again.
Oh and she kills herself at night
So she can see the sun again. |
