The girl's name is: Anna
the boy's name is: Luis
Anna's mom and dad die in a car accident when she's two
years old.
Her neighbor, Liora, sends her to a dorm in Israel.
Anna is raised in Israel until she is 16 years old, then she
wants to find out where is the rest of her family.
She goes to the dorm minister and asks him to give her
Liora's phone number in Spain.
Then he gives her the number and she tries to communicate
with Liora so she will
tell her everything she knows. (but actually Liora has no
idea of what happened).
A few months later Liora comes to Israel and gives Anna her
daughter's passport
(Anna doesn't know what her religion is) and they fly to
Spain.
During the flight Liora tells Anna that the only thing that
she knows is that her parents
were killed in a car accident and that she brought her to
Israel because she once lived there.
When they get to Spain Anna asks to go to her old house to
see if she can find any documents that can tell her
something about herself and her religion.
In her old house she doesn't find anything that can help
her.
Then she goes to the Spanish police and they direct her to
the archive so she can look for her parents' documents and
details about her parents' accident.
In the archive Anna meets Luis that works there (he is 18
years old) and he helps her to look for the documents she
need.
At the first search there are no results so they decide to
go home.
Anna goes to her old house and she repairs it.
Later at night Anna goes to the market and sees Luis there
too,
then they talk and get to know each other better.
They become best friends and he still helps her to look for
the documents.
A few months later they fall in love and Luis discovers that
Anna is a Jewish.
He is a Christian and he lies and tells her that she is a
Christian too.
Meanwhile he writes her a letter:
"My dear Anna,
I'm going to Israel to study in the university, because
there they have a course
that we don't have here in Spain.
Remember that I love you no matter where I am.
Luis"

Luis flies to Israel and become a Jew and everyday he sends
Anna a letter,
sometimes maybe even twice a day.
Anna gets his first letters until her postman falls for her,
and hides Luis's letters.
Meanwhile Anna gets to know her postman (Eduardo) better and
he tries to impress her.
But she still sends letters to her beloved Luis.
She writes that she can't understand him and she writes him
terrible letters, while he is sending her love letters.
A few months later Luis is Jewish according to the law and
then he comes back to Spain.
He comes to Anna's house and it's raining, he is soaked with
water and he kisses her and she pushes him away.
He can't understand what's wrong and he tells her "after
what I did for you, you lineal me like this?"
Anna asks what he did and he tells her that she is Jewish
and that he flew to Israel so he will be Jewish too and they
could get married.
Anna is in shock, she doesn't believe him,
She sends him out of her house.
He is sitting on her stairs can't understand why didn't she
knew that already,
he can see through the window that she is going out.
He decides to follow her.
Anna is going to eat dinner at Ed's house and Luis watching
them through the window.
He makes a little search with his eyes (his child eyes) and
he notices something strange, he sees his letters on Ed's
desk.
And he recognize his letters by there special envelope.
Luis is shocked and he goes to his house, to write another
letter.
"Anna, I saw the letters, all of them.
They are in this man's house, yes, the man that ate dinner
with, please if you still love me a little bit, and check it
out.
Please go, and take them, check if these are my letters.
I love you and I always did.
Sincerely, Luis." (I'll explain the Sincerely thing..)
And then he goes to Anna's house puts the letter next to her
door,
and goes to his house to sleep, but he forgets to close the
door.
When Anna comes home she sees and reads the letter.
After that, she comes back to Ed's house with the excuse
that she forgot something
and she sees and takes the letter when Ed's not looking and
she goes to her house.
She reads a few of the 999 letters and then she comes to
Luis's house.
She get in with no trouble (the door is unlocked) and she
goes up to Luis's room, and wakes him up with sweet kisses.
Luis gets up and says: "I see that you read my 1000 letter,
the last one".
