Postcards From Kyoto
As I clinched and said these humble words,
And I've said stupid things before
As I pinched myself and left with uncertain thoughts
I've sure had sweaty needs, that's for sure
Try to forgive me in this cold night
Try to send me kisses although I'm not worthy
Cry if you must, desires full with tremendous insights
Cry if you trust me, hearts can't go on, they die with
dignity
So I'll send you postcards from Kyoto
I love you, that's my motto
Even if Japan can be shady
Try not to spill your agony, on me
Flew again to search your soul
Japanese people pushed me against the wall
Am I the love assassinator
Will I trigger bloodthirsty demonstrators
Are you one of them, one of those traitors ?
Politely gave you my gift
To see the true eyes of people with swift ill
Decisively leaned on your drift
Just to know you ran out of thrill
So I'll send you postcards from Kyoto
I'll even attach our signed photo
"Without knowing where you are
We'll see each other in our shining northern star." |
