Dancing with a Scarecrow
Because I died a few years ago
Dancing with a wooden soul
The one I can cut and saw
Defending my birds
Feel like a blushing cheek
Trying to build my past brick by brick
No present, no future
I'm scaring the scarecrows
The fields are weak like me
You eat grass, I eat skies
You see me, but I don't have eyes
Dancing with a scarecrow
Because no one likes death
I'm only a hollow stick
A wooden soul no one will pick
Children are knocking on my face
It doesn't hurt anymore
I'm in the spotlight, I'm attractive
But in fact I'm inactive
Dancing with a scarecrow
It's my sign, a black crow
To pack up my things and go
To the unknown flow
Floating and carried away
A wooden soul burns day after day
Day after day... |
