I seek for myself an elegy
For I've been bleeding for several days, and hence must be
dying
For I've been liquidating more and more intensively
And gathered inside your embracing basin.
There I lie helpless, astringent
My powers vaporized in your heat
My miss of heartbeats is growing consistent
And the will to make it through might also wilt.
I seek for myself an elegy
As this heat and aridity my life cannot endure
As I melt here inside you and can't break free
And my staple of care I can't procure.
