Sailing

I dreamt you crossed the ocean
And knocked upon my door
"I've come to take you sailing
Let's both float away"

"Come with me and glide
To the sea of life and beyond
The bays of time are endless
Aching hearts must be explored"

So I let myself delve
Deep
Into your eyes of crystal blue
I let myself get lost
Only to be found


We went far away
To virgin coasts of bliss
To fresh sands of heaven
To waters which run deep


We journeyed to distant lands
On a dizzy stream of happiness
A labyrinth of discovery
To wild and placid shores


I will sail with you evermore
In the whirlpool of my mind
Where there are no anchors of reality
Only calm islands of frenzied joy
