The red light sunset shines between the clouds,
Is charming and delightful, but no more.
I notice happy children in the crowds,
But it's just not what I am looking for.
Above a daisies field birds fly and sing,
Their way is to a flowered almond tree.
And there I sit and find a golden ring,
But still the bliss I seek does not fill me.
Yet when it's you I see and hear your voice,
Stare into your deep eyes, feel your soft skin.
My heart starts trembling, can't stop to rejoice,
It's the best feeling coming from within.
For I want you to be, the truth I say,
The first and last thing I see every day. |
