Eli was standing backstage. She could hear the crowed from
the other side of the curtain calls her name in roaring
screams. She could feel the love they have for her, the love
and the fame. She was looking at the little room behind the
stage of the famous "Disco 9". She felt at home. She felt so
good that it was almost unreal.
5 seconds after, she was standing in front of at least 1000
screaming teenagers. They were all glorifying her beautiful
face and divine body that could even fit the devil's wife
herself.
She was so sexy tonight, she could feel her voice reaching
the crowd's hearts even though she could barley hear herself
singing her greatest hits.

The screaming voices still echoed in her head even when she
woke up with this depressing feeling you have after having a
dream that will never come true.
She listened to the silence of her dark room and took a
glance at her watch. 2.30 am. The little logic voice in her
head told he she have to go back to sleep as she turned on
her computer, it also told her that no one will be online in
a time like that. And for the second time in her life, she
didn't listen to the little logic voice. She didn't listen
to the little voice. She knew there is more in this world
than pure logic, she didn't know why.
She let her computer warm up a little bit as she went down
to take some water from the cool refrigerator that had the
cool door that have ice cubes in it... but she didn't take
ice this time, she suddenly felt so cold, she wanted fire.

You can only start to imagine her surprise when she saw
someone in her little list that is online. 'How much cuter
can he get?" She asked hersefl as she clicked on the name
and sent the guy a massage.
  What are you doing up so late?!
what are = you = doing up so late?
  can't sleep...
let me guess darling, had that dream again...
  Yeah...
don't you ever get sick of dreaming the same thing
every night?
  It wasn't exactly the same...

BOOM the door of the class got opened in a big bang. Eli was
standing at the entrance and scanned the room with mean
eyes. When she caught sight of Alex she walked over to the
girl and slammed her bag on the table.
"What's now?" Alex asked calmly.
"Why didn't you think it's worth the effort to tell me that
your amazing brother is back?" Eli calmed down at once. She
has always had these bursts of moodiness, but they passed
quickly. "You know he looks really good. Too bad that there
aren't more like him for the use of Boyfriend-less girls
like us"
"You have a boyfriend Eli" Alex reminded her dark-haired
friend.
"I know" Eli said and smiled. "But your bro is really
something else..."
"Yeah I know" Alex said with a dreamy voice. "Even my mom
didn't recognize him when he rang the door bell. She told
him she doesn't want to buy no nothing"
Eli laughed. Funny.
"When he was six years old" Alex continued. "He did some
really weird things, my mom was he had a ghost in him or
something" she smiled at the stupid idea. "So she sent him
to a boarding school, and he's been there ever since, and
now he's back"
"Wow" Eli said, "you probably don't know him at all"
"I do, we sent each other e-mails all the time"
"Oh" Eli was thinking about her only brother, her twin,
George, she was very close to him but that wasn't so
special. She never had anything special in her life, apart
from her dreams, or maybe the dream of course. She smiled as
she remembered what Dev told her last night
"You are so much more special then what you think, you're
going to have the most exciting life ever."
She passed through her mind the innocent question she asked
him just for fun
"Do you know something I don't?"
And the answer of his they made her afraid for a second
"Yes"

And back to the class. Well, if it was her choice she would
still be sailing in her dreams of Dev, but Nick, her
boyfriend, came running into the class and found his place
around Eli.
"So what's your brother's name anyway?" Eli realized she
forgot to get the most important piece of information
"Dev" Alex said and Eli froze
"Don't you mean... Dave"
"No, Dev. D E V, weird ha? He named himself this way"
Eli just couldn't believe it, Dev wasn't such a common name
after all, and her Dev was in the same age as Alex's
brother. She looked at Nick, the little goodie goodie that
was her boyfriend for the last two years. She always found
him so adorable, but now she suddenly felt he was so boring,
she tried to think about a time that he made her feel happy,
or special. But something disturbed her before she could get
to the conclusion that there isn't a time like that.

"Hello Liz" a deep sexy voice came from the other side of
the room. There was only one person that ever called her
Liz, she hated that name it sounded too... too evil.
"I'm sorry," the voice said, now Eli noticed that it had
Dev's face attached to it. "I meant Elizabeth"
Eli was looking at him with disbelieve, after couple of
seconds in which none talked she finally asked, "why didn't
you tell me you're coming?" it was obvious he knew who she
was. And she decided that it's a fact that Alex's brother
and her Dev are the same person.
"I wanted it to be a surprise" he said and gave a glance
towards Nick. "Is this little Nickey?" he asked with an
extremely sarcastic tone. Eli nodded. "You just broke up,"
he informed the shocked boy.

In a normal day Nick would have give the cheeky boy a piece
of his mind, or at-least one of his fist. But something
about the way Dev looked made him think twice before even
breathing without his permission. Maybe it was the scary
look his black leather clothes gave him. Maybe all of the
pierced parts of his body (ear, eyebrow and nose if you
really want to know). Maybe the big black tattoo of a lady
covered with red cloth on all the strategic places... But at
the end I think that what kept Nick from doing anything was
the way Dev's eyes seemed almost inhuman. They simply said
'don't mass with me'.

"Who said we broke up?" Eli asked Dev with pure anger in her
voice. But deep inside she knew it's true.
Dev looked at her eyes. He was digging in her eyes, trying
to open a window to her brain.
"Dev, wha... what are you do-" she didn't even finish the
thought and all of a sudden the world disappeared and turned
red for couple of seconds.
And then she came back.
"Dev go away" she told him. She started to feel some weird
attraction to him, and it scared her.
As surprising as it is he listened to her.
"As you wish my queen" he said and left the room.

"What the hell is going on?!" Alex screamed when her brother
left the room. At the sound of the word 'hell' Eli collapsed
on the floor. Alex was still in total shock. Nick ran away.
Dev was out of the classroom looking at the terrified boy
running away. He smiled to himself.
"It's time" he said in a deep almost unheard voice, looked
up and winked.
