| She stands there, back straight head high, surrounded bypeople.
 The conversion flows, someone laughs silently. At first
 glance I think she's happy but sometimes the conversion
 flatters, and in those moments of silence her soul reveal
 itself.
 The sad eyes betray the smile.
 Only for a second I truly see her, only for a second. And
 then the mask returns.
 Our eyes met and she knows I know her secret, her gaze
 trapped me.
 So much tenderness, so much pain. I know she'll never hurt
 me.
 She looks away, unable to bear the mirror in my eyes.
