I was a child, and he was a child
We were both children of the sea,
But we loved irredeemably each other,
In this kingdom by the sea.
We were meant to be together,
Together for eternity,
But a chilling wind blew out of a cloud, destroying
And we were torn apart, in the kingdom by the sea.
We were sent away to different ways,
And never meant to be for eternity,
We went on different directions,
And our love was no longer familiar to me.
And that was how two children's love was quenched,
In this beloved kingdom by the sea,
The time strummed on the chords of nature again,
And the love had faded into the waves of the nearby sea.
A parody on "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allen Poe.
