I looked into your eyes when you laid in my lap
I looked and I saw such marvels
I felt I was drawn to a magical trap
Of beauty bursting like bubbles.
I saw in your eyes a small lions' cub
Playing with the tail of his mother
I saw in your eyes the summer turn up,
And with it, all of its wonders
I saw in your eyes a great renaissance hall
And in it people dancing
I saw in your eyes a great firey ball
One of the stars entrancing
I saw in your eyes a leprechaun jumping
All cute and happy and care free
I saw in your eyes a crystal clear spring
Running next to an oak tree
I saw in your eyes a great flock of birds
Sweeping their way through the skies
But no doubt the best thing I saw in them was
Your beautiful, beautiful eyes |
