Hovering elegantly above

Absorbing the unbounded sins of mankind

Infinite treacheries murders and thefts
Myriad disasters hastens our fall
Endless evil both leaders and pawns
Measureless darkness devouring all

Silently it hovers
Projecting its incoherent rays
Its gentle flickering light
Preserving lucidity's fortress

Loathsome and ungrateful
Greed overpowers cordiality
The abominable creation
Stains its brilliant light aura

Marred and desecrated
Infested by worms
Its protection gradually weakens
Blight devours all

And the remnants of sanity
And the leftovers of devoured lucidity
They cry for the moon
