A statue in the dark is what I saw
A coat of gold that shimmered in the night
I fell to its mercy and wept for my soul
I begged for forgiveness, to do what is right

A beam of divinity, the warmth of love
I knew what had to be done
I had to find my souless mate
And bring her into my sun

I search through distant realities
A visage of what I know
And there in the bleak of infinity
Erects a sight that glows

My one true love, the cure for my sins
Smiles into my eyes
She knows her power over me grows
And so she knows that she must die

She leaps to nothingness
And lets her life go free
Soaring through the night with wingless wings
And she does it all for me

For once she is dead I see her truely
I can feel the love we had
For a second of eternity, feels like forever
Her blood-tears make me sad

If only I knew the power of love
I would gladly suffer for her, and die
I would condemn myself to endless torture
If just only, to see again, the spark in her eye |
