הסיפור מסופר שנה לפני התקבלות הארי להוגוורטס.
It was eight thirty when Harry walked into the class. The
teacher was already there. Harry didn't recognize this
teacher although it seemed that she didn't care he was late.
Harry set in his regular chair; two desks away was Dudley
who was unhappy that the new teacher didn't punish Harry.
"Exuse me Ms. Smith!" said dudley, "he was late." He was
very proud of himself for making Harry's life miserable, as
he usually did.
"I noticed that myself," said the teacher. "You, on the
other hand, have no right to tell me what to do, Mr.
Dursley!"
Dudley froze as the teacher continued the lesson. Harry
allso noticed that this teacher liked him and not his cousin
and it made him very happy. "Thanks," said harry to the
teacher later that day, when no one noticed.
"It's nothing," said the new teacher, "just don't tell
anyone about it."
Harry didn't understand why shouldn't he tell and whom, but
he was still happy.
Later that day, Dudley and his stupid friends were bothering
Harry. As usual, no one was there to help him, no one dared
to do anything for Harry or against Dudley. They were
running after him, but he was used to it so he ran even
faster when he noticed that there was nowhere to go, he was
facing a wall. When he looked right, there was a wall, and
so to the left. He was trapped. He saw the bullies running
toward him; he was completely panicked when something
trasported him fast. He found himself jumping to the roof.
He didn't understand how, but he was on the school's roof.
The bullies were shocked as well.
Half an hour later, Harry was in the principal's office with
Dudley, Dudley's friends and Harry's aunt and uncle, Petunia
and Vernon
"What the hell did you do?" said Vernon, who knew exectly
what he did.
"I told you, they were running after me whe..." started
Harry when uncle Vernon stoped him.
"Lliar, boy! Liar!" said Vernon, "no one was after you."
"They..." started harry but when he tried to continue,
someone entered.
"They were after him," said the new teacher when she got in.
"I saw the whole thing," she said very confidently.
"Who the hell are you?" shouted Vernon at Ms. Smith.
"I'm a teacher here and I saw what happened through my
window," she said.
"Really?" said Vernon, who thought this woman was nuts.
"Yes," said the teacher. "May I?" she asked the principal.
"Yes, you may," said the principal.
"I was working. When I looked outside for a minute, I saw
this boy," she pointed at Harry, "...being chased by those
filthy bullies." She was now pointing at Dudley and co.
everyone in the room was shocked. Vernon tried to say
something but she continued. "He did no wrong to nobody, did
he?" Vernon tried to speak again, but again she continued,
"No, he has not. He was just standing there when they
started chasing him. He ran and ran until there was nowhere
else to run to and he was stuck."
"This is good evidence, but how did he get to the roof?"
asked the principal.
Ms. Smith said something and evrybody in the room, except
for Harry, had their memory deleted. Harry didn't know what
happned then, he knew it was some unnatural thing. She was
then gone; no one rememberd her later, including Harry. She
left, Tonks left, Ms. Smith. |
