Life is like the sun
In dusk it is born from the darkness,
From within the night;
Bringing joy and warmth to the world
Like a child that matures,
So do the sun transverse the heavenly realm,
And makes the sky its domain;
As a kid takes possession over his toys
It is now a young adult in the prime of his life,
Boasting his fine stature and physiques;
So do the sun reaches the zenith of its might,
And shows off its yellow cheeks
Years, as the hours, pass
The sun is now in the middle of the sky,
Its rays become paler, redder in sight;
Like a man with ashen hairs,
So do its flames start to wither
It's the afternoon and the sun sets down
Where earth meets heaven, the dwelling of the one;
And an elderly Adam walks the last few steps
In the journey of his life
The sun turns red as blood,
Or as the apples of the heaven,
Succumbing to the curse everlasting;
Last rays in the occidental horizon
And a man closes his eyes for the vary last time
Its now evening
Life, as the sun, is past
But even in the darkness of the night
The children of the sun, the stars and the moon,
Keep on shining bright |
