Cause

When I was a little kid, I was told to do what ever my
parents tells me to do
When I was a little bit bigger, I was told to be polite and
not be rude
When I was a child, I was told I am entitle to have my own
opinions
When I was teenager, I was trying to convince others to
believe in my points of view

Now when I am a grown up person I understand
That it does not matter what you are being told to do. Nor
what to say or think
What's important is what you believe inside
What you want to say, what ever you want to think
And most important is to follow your own heart and mind

As time travels and we sometimes look back on our history
Some people come to think, "What have we done to contribute
to humanity?"
Some would say, "I have done that and made this"
Others might say, "I helped those and saved these"
I say, I found your heart and made it possible
To walk in that door straight inside your castle

Some people think in manners of give and take
Some others believe in a drink or a shake
Some believe in living day by day, without seeing the day
after tomorrow
Others believe there is no tomorrow, and live their life in
fear and sorrow
I believe in tomorrow and the day after
I am convinced in my feelings to you my lover

I hand over to you one thousand carnations and a rose
The first time I kissed you I felt waking up from a doze
I wanted to let you know what I felt and froze
I wish I could show you my belief in the cause!
