Sometimes I remember of how I used to be
Pictures I imagine from my memory
Many years have passed, I'm not the same
I'm grown and besides me there's no one to blame
Choices I chose, decisions I made
I don't regret all the prices I paid
Looking at myself in the mirror
And my destiny seems so clearer

And I'm thankful for
Everything I am
Everyday I try to my best
And I know that
Life isn't easy
So I live day by day

Everyday I wake up it's a brand new day
All my troubles seem so far away
The birds are singing for a while
I look at the world and it makes me smile
Things I took for granted feel so special
It's amazing to see such a beautiful creation
People and nature hand in hand
The wetness of the ocean, the dryness of the land

And I'm thankful for
Everything I am
Everyday I try to my best
And I know that
