"Tell me why am I always dreaming impossible dreams?" I
asked Lisa when I saw her approaching in order to see what I
was looking at. "I think you're wasting your time, he's out
of your league, and besides, he's taken", said Lisa and
turned to look at me, as though she wanted to say: "forget
him, he won't be yours". At this point, I turned my back to
her and ran away, I knew he was taken and he won't be mine,
but I didn't want to admit it. Day after day, Lisa found me
at the gym watching him, she thought to herself: "she must
be totally in love with him, but she must realize that it's
hopeless, he's already with somebody else", I knew what Lisa
was thinking and I knew that she's right but I refused to
accept it, while I was watching him, I imagined us together
caressing each other's bodies. "He got such a beautiful
body", I told Lisa, and she despite her thoughts and
feelings, listened to all my fantasies about him.
When I got home, I met my neighbor and she told me a story
about an unreachable guy that made me think about my
situation, and I started to think that I better off without
my ridiculous fantasies about him, and I finally admitted
what was so obvious.
The next day, Lisa was passing by the gym and didn't see me
there, she thought to herself: "she finally understood".
