"...i think that because EVERYONE here goes to the army, you
don't feel like you're going to the war...'cause you don't
feel like you're living in a war (although we actually do,
come to think of it). so it takes time until you understand
what you are doing and how it is related to war or peace...
and i'm not there yet. i'm in the army. that's just
something you do here. and you hope to be as meaningful as
you can, without even understanding what you're going in to.
i think maybe later i'll understand the meaning of all
this."
