Lucid and Shantra were madly in love with each other after
talking for a few hours, when suddenly Lucid noticed
something in the distant skyline. Bright lights were shining
in the sky just above the city.
"Look, Shantra, do you see those lights?" he cried out
excitedly.
"Yes, they've been shining for some time now," Shantra
answered slowly, "I just didn't think they were worth
mentioning to you."
"I wonder what it means" Lucid thought to himself when he
heard voices calling his name from the distance "I'm over
here!" he shouted back to the voices.
A few seconds later three figures appeared from the woods,
and Lucid recognized Tyle, Trend and his father's butler
Jones hurrying to meet him.
"Lucid, your father passed away," said Jones gravely, "I
need you to come with me now."
Lucid looked up confused, "When did it happen?" Trend
approached him and told him that they were looking for him
for the past few hours, that his father had a massive stroke
and passed away.
"We have to go now, Lucid" said Jones again. Lucid's gaze
fell on Shantra, who sat further away from the others "I'll
come with you," said Lucid, "but not alone, for I have found
someone I'm taking back with me," and Lucid took off his
long  coat and put it around Shantra's shoulders.
"I'm sorry for your loss" Shantra muttered quietly. Lucid
smiled gently at her "my father would have wanted me to be
happy" he said "and you are the one thing that can make me
happy."
The group left the woods and got into the butler's limousine
which took them back to the palace.
