Hiding between the days and the hours
But the weeks and months kept chasing after me
I've tried to run
But time is faster than me
I've tried to cheat
But time didn't care

But it wouldn't swallow the pate
So time and I have made a deal.

If time would promise not to chase me
We agreed
And once a while,
I let myself hide between the hours and the days
Wondering if it's still after me
