Northern lights
In the sky above shine
Never far away from public eyes
Overlooking the wintry wooden pines
And the soft snowy stars
With their power and might
Gaze at the northern horizon
For the divine light
Guardians of the winter nights
That roam freely in the heavenly realm
The proclaimed celestial knights
Which the darkness overwhelm
In the blazing flames they heat
The hearts of forsaken people round
Their flare ignites, friends' weary souls lit
Following an ancient oath to which they are bound
In the vast empty spaces of ice
Inside a frosty wooden shack with kerfs
Look above for your hope and vice
For the winter is still present, and the living are its
