The people trusted are no one. "Certainly not him", thought
Uyil.
Tordek was making feeble attempts in uniting the various Ro
Gavat leaders in Norkloghet with a plan against the Tyeel.
He was proposing that they continue the guerilla tactics
they were using - hitting on Tyeel supply routs, attacking
small bands, sabotage. The leaders seemed restless, uneasy
at the thought of a lasting struggle with the Tyeel.
"We can't keep doing this, Tordek" an elderly man named
Yeeldhay shouted out, "as long as we don't control the Tyeel
radiation machines and their air filters, we stand no
chance".
"Yeeldhay," Tordek replied calmly, "we cannot be fooled by
the Tyeel". Tardek was referring to the mysterious tactics
that Tyeel have been taking recently, like barricading
themselves defensively in their garrison, shooting off
mysterious whit beams at the stars and abandoning virtually
any attempt to catch the Ro Gavat militias.
"Torek, they are panicked, they cannot leave, we have to act
NOW". There were rumors about the Tyeel being trapped on
their planet, not being able to use their starships to
either enter or exit the atmosphere.
"Why don't know these are facts, we can't simply assume what
we want to assume. Yeeldhay, we can not, simply CAN NOT risk
losing this war. I don't need to remind any of you the
consequences of the Tyeel coming to our world" Tordek said,
his eyes dancing around the room, trying to meet his
people's eyes.
"And that's exactly why we should act! We should move to
retake Logh Vohei!" Uyil said, standing up. All eyes turned
to him...
