Gentle breeze
I hear the autumn leaves
They're trembling
Like many times before
The city lights are fading
And through the mist surrounding
I hear my heart, it's pounding
I promised to return before it's dark
Going on
Searching unfamiliar
Caresses of the forest
I'm looking for enchantment
For one so bright and honest
The trees are silently standing
Their arms around me, bending
A drop of rain is falling on the ground
Looking up
The sky is black and distant
The falling stars are sleeping
And by a little pond
I hear the water's weeping
I looked for myself and found no one
I guess myself is long, long gone
I'm tired of searching, sitting down to rest
Fell asleep
I dreamed of fragile fairies
That dance around the moon
I wake up and it fades away
The morning came too soon
But I found what I was asking for
Was swept away and found my shore
I'm coming home so don't lock up the door
