Yare ye, my aura, my angel, my dove!
These recent days I've been swept by love
Fear not upon receiving this letter
I won't oppress - you know me better!
Some psalms for thee contains this note
I could not hold them, so I wrote
These words to you as a poem
And I sure would like you to know'em
But first myself I'll introduce
For you to know, for further use:
I am a truly man of steel,
Indifferent and without a sense or feel
So people think I just play tough
When shown emotions, I tend to laugh
But there've been moments, though a few,
When I have melted. No one knew.
Such was that day of summer-late
When I first saw you at such rate
My heart was struck by bows of Cupid
The rest is history (oh so stupid!)
Alas, you chose be on your own
And I can't do a thing but moan
Yet I accept what thou present
I don't protest, I don't resent
But this I offer you with pleasure:
(Since I perceive your smile a treasure)
I want to be your truest friend
Be sure my ears I'll always lend
And though whenever see thy face,
I burn to kiss you, right at place,
I'll keep your best interests in mind
In love affairs, or such kind
And soon enough the spell will fade,
My divine image of you would shade
And there'll remain a sober view
Of sweet kind mortal, namely you... |
