Death and misery,
Anger and war,
I wish it would all stop,
I can stand it no more!
"Life isn't heaven,"
They all say to me,
"It's not as by order,
It'll be what it'll be."
"So why," I reply,
"Why can't we all,
Make this world better,
Fix it whole?"
"You can't." They answer.
"This is the world of old.
Either live by its rules,
Or live no more, untold."
At these times I wonder,
Is there life after death?
Is the next world truly better?
Or is it also full of wrath?
Is the afterlife really worth dying?
Can our lives be count as a goal?
For after one dies, people forget,
The soul that made him whole. |
